Walter Miller joins SSMI as a Regional President for USA
SSMI is glad to welcome Walter Miller, who joins SSMI management team as a Regional President in the United States.
Walter Miller has sixteen (16) years’ experience across multiple industries such healthcare, oil/gas, telecom, banking, finance and education as a leader in LEAN Six Sigma. Walter began his career as a Program Manager to lead the effort of re-engineering the Global Product Registration workflow for Avaya (formerly Lucent Technologies) and other Fortune 500 companies such as Bank of America, Capital One, Access Midstream (formerly Chesapeake Midstream) and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
Walter has captured millions of dollars in cost savings and what he likes to call “Revenue Recovery”. Walter has trained, mentored and certified hundreds of LEAN Six Sigma practitioners. Walter has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology and a MBA in Organizational Development and Leadership that’s provides him a unique eye for recognizing improvement opportunities in alignment with organization strategic goals as well as coaching leaders on change management. Walter has participated in many presentations and panel discussions to continue sharing the value of LEAN Six Sigma and other business improvement methods. Walter is actively engaged with other quality organizations such as the Oklahoma Quality Foundation and the Oklahoma Chapter of ASQ (Executive Secretary).
In August 2014, Walter Miller was mentored and certified by Dr. Mikel Harry’s first Executive Master Black Belt (EMBB) class (Graduate #0005) through the Six Sigma Management Institute. Walter wants to support your organization in developing training and providing results towards continued success through LEAN Six Sigma.
